The 2013 NFL Free Agent Draft (picks 6-10)

The 2013 NFL Free Agent Draft (picks 6-10)

#6: Cleveland Browns: Mike Wallace – WR
Cleveland needs a wide receiver as bad as they need LeBron back. Greg Little is certainly not a #1 receiver and Mohamed “Massaaapeuqaaa?” Massaquoi is a part-time novelty. Hey, the new Browns owner, Jimmy Haslam, is/was a Steelers fan. Weeden needs a target, Wallace is his man.

#7: Arizona Cardinals: Jake Long – OT
Arizona selects Jake Long for the simple reason they need to improve on pass protection for Larry Fitzgerald to at least gain some stats. He’s a top receiver in the league and needs a QB to give him the ball, so at least get the QB extra time.

#8: Buffalo Bills: Greg Jennings – WR
The Bills might be searching for a new quarterback this off-season; whoever that ends up being needs someone other than Stevie Johnson to get the ball to. Jennings will bring speed, savvy, and veteran leadership to a team that needs it all.

#9: New York Jets: Andre Smith – OL
The Jets still want to run the ball, and Smith is one of the most underrated right tackles in the game. The Jets need to sure-up a once dominate line. Smith will create running lanes for Greene, Powell, and McKnight and keep defenders off of Sanchez just long enough for him to throw a pick.

#10: Tennessee Titans: Dunta Robinson – CB
This is a potential upgrade for the Titans who didn’t sign Cortland Finnegan last season. He can lay the wood in the secondary and the Titans need to toughen up from top to bottom. He’s 30 which means he’s still got something left in the tank and he can teach a thing or two to the 27th ranked defense from last year.
